Custom Packaging for the
Automotive & Industrial Sector

Automotive and industrial packaging must solve the hardest packaging problems: protecting heavy, irregularly shaped, and often fragile components through harsh distribution conditions — drops, vibration, temperature extremes, and moisture. At the same time, automotive aftermarket brands compete for attention in retail environments where professional-quality packaging signals product quality and justifies price points.

Custom Packaging Built for Automotive & Industrial

Automotive and industrial packaging must solve the hardest packaging problems: protecting heavy, irregularly shaped, and often fragile components through harsh distribution conditions — drops, vibration, temperature extremes, and moisture. At the same time, automotive aftermarket brands compete for attention in retail environments where professional-quality packaging signals product quality and justifies price points.

Brisk Packaging produces both functional industrial shipping packaging and premium retail-ready automotive packaging. Our corrugated solutions for automotive parts use double and triple-wall board engineered to specific component weights, fragility ratings, and stacking requirements. For retail automotive products (accessories, fluids, consumables), we produce folding carton boxes with bold graphics that compete effectively at the retail shelf.

The automotive e-commerce segment is growing rapidly as consumers increasingly buy car parts and accessories online. This creates demand for protective packaging that is also unboxing-worthy — well-engineered mailer boxes and retail-style packaging that work in both a professional workshop and an online fulfilment context.

Industry Packaging Trends

  • 2Sustainable industrial packaging using recycled corrugated replacing foam packaging
  • 3Custom foam inserts for precision components reducing transit damage by 60%
  • 4Automotive accessory brands using premium retail packaging to command higher shelf prices
  • 5RFID-enabled packaging for inventory management in automotive supply chains

Expert Packaging Tips

  • Specify burst strength (Mullen or ECT) based on your product weight and distribution method
  • Custom die-cut foam inserts prevent metal-to-metal contact that causes transit damage
  • Clear product photography on retail auto packaging significantly increases impulse purchase rates
  • Include vehicle compatibility lists (year/make/model) prominently on retail packaging
  • For e-commerce, the "ship-in-own-container" design reduces double-boxing and material waste

Automotive & Industrial Packaging FAQs

Answers to common questions regarding logistics, materials, and ordering.

What corrugated board grade do you recommend for heavy auto parts?
For auto parts over 5kg, we recommend double-wall (BC flute) corrugated with an Edge Crush Test (ECT) rating of 48–55. For parts over 20kg or with stacking requirements, triple-wall corrugated is appropriate. We can engineer to your specific ISTA 1A, 2A, or 3A transit performance requirements.
Can you produce custom foam inserts for precision automotive components?
Yes. We produce custom-cut EVA foam, polyethylene foam, and cross-linked polyethylene inserts for precision components including sensors, engine parts, and electronics. Foam can be cut to hold multiple components in a single box, preventing movement and metal-to-metal contact during transit.
