In short: send your dimensions, quantity, artwork and the date you need boxes delivered. We confirm whether the date is achievable and quote the rush fee, you approve a free digital proof, and production takes 5–7 business days instead of 7–10 business days. Mailers, folding cartons and shipping boxes in standard boards are the best fit for rush.

Rush vs standard timeline

Rush shortens production, which is the longest step. Design, proofing and shipping still need time, so the fastest orders are the ones that arrive with everything ready.

What makes a job rush-ready

Most rush dates are lost before production starts. Have these ready and we can usually confirm your timeline straight away.

Final dimensions

Inside length, width and height of the box, measured with the product and any insert.

Print-ready artwork

Vector logo and final copy, or artwork already placed on our dieline. Design changes during a rush add days.

A standard structure and board

Mailers, tuck-end cartons and shipping boxes in our usual boards move fastest. Specialty papers and new structures may not qualify.

One person who can approve

Proof approval is often the slowest step. Name one decision-maker who can sign off the same day.

A real in-hand date

Tell us the date you need boxes at your door, and the delivery address, so we can confirm it is achievable before you pay.

Usually not rush-ready

Rigid and magnetic boxes (wrapped and assembled by hand), specialty papers, brand-new structures and multi-finish designs take longer. Ask us before you plan around a date.

How a rush order works

  1. 1

    Send your details and date

Use the rush quote form below with your product, quantity, dimensions and the date you need boxes delivered.

  2. 2

    We confirm the timeline

We check the job and our schedule and tell you whether the date is achievable, and the rush fee, before you commit.

  3. 3

    Approve the proof

You receive a free 3D mockup and digital proof. Production starts the moment you approve it.

  4. 4

    Production and tracked delivery

Rush production takes 5–7 business days, then your order ships with tracking.

When a rush is worth it

  • A product launch, trade show or PR date that cannot move.
  • Stock ran out sooner than expected and orders are waiting.
  • A retailer or marketplace confirmed an order at short notice.
  • A seasonal window, such as holidays or Valentine's Day, where late boxes mean lost sales.

If the date can move by a week, a standard order usually costs less. Compare both quotes before you decide.

How to avoid needing one

  • Set a reorder point: reorder when stock covers less than 17 business days of sales plus a buffer.
  • Keep approved artwork and dielines on file so reorders skip the design step.
  • Order seasonal packaging when you plan the campaign, not when it starts.
  • Keep a small stock of plain boxes and branded labels as a backup.

Rush order FAQs

How fast can I get custom boxes with a rush order?
Rush production takes 5–7 business days after you approve the digital proof, and US shipping adds 5–7 business days, so most rush orders arrive 10–14 business days after approval. Faster shipping options can be quoted on request.
How much does a rush order cost?
Rush production carries an additional fee on top of the standard price. The fee depends on the box, quantity, materials and finishes, so we quote it with your order and confirm it before you commit.
What is the minimum quantity for a rush order?
Most styles start at 100 units. Some specialty styles have a higher minimum, shown on each product page. The same minimums apply to rush orders.
Which boxes can be rushed?
Mailer boxes, folding cartons, shipping boxes, kraft boxes and most food boxes in our standard boards are the best fit. Rigid boxes, specialty papers and new custom structures take longer to make, so ask us before you plan around a rush date.
Does a rush order still include the free 3D design and proof?
Yes. Every rush order gets a free 3D mockup and digital proof. Nothing is printed until you approve it, so the quality checks are the same as a standard order.
When does the rush timeline start?
The production clock starts when you approve the final proof, not when you first request a quote. Sending print-ready artwork and approving quickly is the best way to hit your date.
Can rush orders be shipped outside the US?
Yes, to Canada, the UK and Australia, but international transit and customs add time. Tell us the destination and date and we will confirm what is achievable.

Not in a hurry? A standard quote costs less, and you can start with a free 3D design.
